Chinese Foreign Minister: Effective measures must be taken to stop the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi affirmed support for the call issued by the Riyadh summit on Palestine for a two-state solution, noting the need to take effective measures to stop the Gaza humanitarian catastrophe.
In the same regard, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki said that Israel calls for the liquidation of the Palestinians and the taking away of their rights, and this violates the two-state solution.
Al-Maliki added, during urgent news broadcast by the Cairo News Channel, that we came to Beijing in order to discuss the brutal war crimes committed by the Israelis against the Palestinian people.
Earlier, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that a number of foreign ministers from Arab and Islamic countries were beginning official visits to the permanent member states of the Security Council, focusing on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Saudi Foreign Minister stressed, during a breaking news report, that the international community must bear responsibility to stop what the occupation is doing, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an increase in humanitarian aid.
