A Chinese health official said that the rise in respiratory diseases in China is caused by known pathogens, and there is no indication of the presence of new infectious diseases, as the country faces the first winter with a complete cancellation of the ban since the lifting of its strict restrictions related to Covid-19.
  The significant rise in the disease in the country where the Corona virus appeared in late 2019 attracted attention when the World Health Organization requested information last week about the new disease affecting children.
Mi Feng, an official at the Chinese National Health Commission, said in a press conference that the Chinese authorities will open more outpatient clinics for children, and seek to ensure that more elderly and children receive influenza vaccines and encourage people to wear masks and wash their hands.
  Doctors in China and experts abroad did not express concern about the outbreak in China, given that many other countries saw similar increases in respiratory diseases after easing epidemic measures, which is what China did at the end of last year.
The Corona virus has killed millions of people around the world, and millions more are still suffering from the effects of the virus, which was its starting point in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
