The Pope of the Vatican officially legalizes same-sex marriage

The Vatican issued a document confirming that Pope Francis has officially given his approval to priests and clergy to bless same-sex marriage.
The document issued by the Vatican's doctrinal office on Monday said that people who seek God's love and mercy do not have to undergo a "comprehensive moral analysis" in order to receive the church's blessing.
Noting that marriage is a lifelong sacrament between one man and one woman, the issued document also affirms that requests for such blessings “should not be completely rejected.”
The document considered that “blessing gives people a means to increase their confidence in the Lord, and that requesting it expresses openness to transcendence, mercy, and closeness to God. It is the seed of the Holy Spirit that must be nurtured, not hindered.”
